HP LaserJet 2420 Laser Toner Can Be The Perfect Addition To Your Office

Taking the HP LaserJet 2420 printer for what it is means one will be taking on a good Hewlett-Packard monochrome laser printer of high print speed and excellent print quality provided by HP LaserJet 2420 toner. That it comes at a low price, relatively speaking when considering all its features, is a bit surprising. But the 2420 offers much to like and very little to dislike when it comes to sizing it up.

Generally speaking, the LaserJet 2420 occupies a niche that can make it a nice candidate for the office workhorse printer within a workgroup or network or even as a stand alone printer within many a small office environment. It handles just about all of its print jobs with ease and it can print out 30 pages or more of high-quality product, which is sure to please anyone who purchases this laser printer.

As well, the quality of the product that emerges from the printer is nothing but excellent in almost all regards. HP has given this model 1,200 dpi print resolution capability, meaning there’ll be little to complain about from its users in terms of the quality or clarity of anything this device has the responsibility of printing out. Hewlett-Packard has always been known for good print quality, for a fact.

Much of this quality of printing is owed to the fact that Hewlett-Packard always attempts to include a specific image enhancement technology tool embedded within the printer software. It’s complemented by — in this case — a 400 MHz microprocessor that will help to keep the 32 MB of RAM cooking nicely and serving up healthy doses of print product when it’s needed and how it’s needed.

When it comes to connectivity, the 2420 already wins out just by the fact that it features a couple of different ways to connect it to a network or even a single computer. There’s a parallel port, which is aimed more at more traditional and older networks, while a high-speed USB connection also exists, though the purchaser of the printer will also have to buy a separate USB cable.

As far as all of the different paper stock that the LaserJet 2420 can print on, it’s pretty much one of the more versatile laser printers around for its price. Bond paper and even recycled paper can be used quite easily by this machine and it will also print out on envelopes and transparencies along with labels. Additionally, a single auto load tray can hold 250 sheets of paper, with this printer holding 350 sheets altogether.

The LaserJet 2420 is certified to run on Windows Vista, and it can make use of various other Windows platforms and Mac OS 9.X or later and 10.X or later. It’ll be a very easy printer to join to most any platform, in other words. Really, it will do fine on Windows 98 and later, so there should be little concern about the operating system currently being run.

Taken in its entirety, and considering that a printer of such high-speed capacity can go for around $500 before any discounts and will be exceptionally durable (it features a 75,000 page per month duty cycle) it’ll be hard to find much to fret over when it comes to the HP LaserJet 2420 printer. It works well as a personal printer or a networked workgroup printer, too, making it doubly attractive to many potential customers.

The HP LaserJet 2420 cartridges will meet the needs of even the most demanding professional. Quality is a standard with HP toner cartridge and smart users know that the better the toners, the better their presentation will be.
