The computer memory speed depends on the physical memory. There are some things you can boost to increase your computer’s speed. You can fix your Windows XP registry and speed up your PC. Is there a way that you can fix registry windows xp? It is easy to fix the Windows XP registry. Allow me to tell you how to fix the registry.

First, you have to know what a registry is in order for you to fix it. In essence, the registry stores a lot of the data and configurations in Windows. What I mean is that, all your Windows settings are stored in this database. Think of the registry as an information desk where the clerk knows all about your configurations. Now, the problem with the registry is the fact that it can get clogged to death with every install and uninstall that you do in Windows. What I mean is that every time you install or uninstall software in your Windows machine, you end up clogging the registry.

When your registry is clogged, your PC will slow down. Ram will help improve the speed of your PC. But what if you don’t have the money to buy more ram or technical know how to put ram in your PC or laptop? You can definitely repair your registry and speed up your PC.

Not so long ago, repairing the registry requires that we should hack it by hand. In fact, a lot of old time Windows users still hack the registry by hand. I don’t support hacking the registry because it can be very dangerous to the well being of your Windows install. It will take a lot out of you to restore your Windows install if you damaged your registry. A lot of people opt to just reformat than to mess around with some complicated fix. I must tell you not to tinker with your registry manually.

The easiest thing you can do is to procure a registry scanner. Registry cleaners are a dime a dozen nowadays, so you have to choose carefully what registry cleaner you want to get. I suggest that you get a registry cleaner that has a built in system restore. In addition, a good registry cleaner must not only remove orphaned and invalid registry entries, it should also remove malicious entries.

Nowadays, all you really need to do is scan your PC and it will do the rest. Lucky for us we don’t need to tinker with the registry anymore. As we advance in technology, all we really need to do is push buttons and relax. While this is lazy, I do not suggest that you manually fix your registry.
