Top Selling Video Game Systems And Their Traits
Electronics have basically started to take over the world. Almost nobody could get their work day completed without the assistance of computers, email, the internet, fax machines, and various other electronic devices that people have come to take for granted. Also, what is important for many people, are CTP and Prepress Equipment which both help with people in certain industries. Not only are electronics taking over offices, but also the home. Almost no home these days is complete without a video game system, and video games have rapidly become one of the biggest selling products in the country as the demand for games grows and more and more people grow up being raised on video games.
Most likely the biggest and most popular game system on the market currently is the Xbox 360. invented by Bill Gates and his software empire, the 360 was really the first console to be able to do more things than just play games, as part of the new “next generation” systems that have come out recently. One important positive about the 360 is that it is the only system that plays perhaps the most popular game of all time, called Halo 3. But, there are also certain drawbacks to the 360 also. One of these cons is that the system is not capable of playing Blu-ray high definition DVDs because it does not have the necessary memory space. Also, the system is famous for failing via a thing known amongst users as the “Red Ring of Death” in which red lights will flash around the outside of the power button and the system will no longer work. In order to fix this situation, consumers are made to send their system back to the manufacturer and pay a fee to get it fixed.
The second most popular gaming console available right now, and quickly gaining ground on the 360, is the Playstation 3. Playstation 3 is a product made in Japan that can do an incredible amount of things. The system can play Blu-ray DVD’s the system comes directly with that ability without any adding on. Also, the system can g on the internet, and has a wireless router installed ahead of time to pick up any wireless signals in the area. Also, there is great value to the system because getting a Blu-ray player in the guise of a Playstation is cheaper in fact than getting one by itself. But, some cons of the Playstation are there to see too. For example, the price tag is very hefty and a basic unit would set a customer back about $400 and it can rise depending on certain variables. Also, there are some fears that sales have not gone as expected and the manufacturer might be cutting back on making games for the Playstation as a result, which would make it worth very little in the long run.
Finally, the family oriented Wii has also found a share in the market. Mainly consisting of family style games such as Mario and other things, the Wii has recently capitalized on the recent fitness trend by introducing exercise related games.
Electronic devices are vital to everyday life in America, more so in fact than some people know.
